OPERATIONS
Ben Casley IMarEST is an Electrical Engineer and experienced Project Manager with over 10 years in the maritime industry.
As a Director, he leads the business’s commercial and planning functions, combining strong technical knowledge with strategic project delivery.
Beginning his career as an electrical apprentice, Ben has progressed to managing complex maintenance, refit, and engineering projects across commercial, military, and geotechnical vessels. He has coordinated multi-disciplinary teams both in the UK and internationally, delivering major programmes in locations such as Singapore and Bahrain. His work routinely involves collaborating with shipyards, contractors, and Class societies to ensure compliance and achieve project milestones on time and within budget.
Ben also provides essential commercial oversight, managing forecasting, procurement, and cost control to maintain financial clarity and support informed decision-making across all stages of a project.
Outside of work, Ben enjoys golf, skiing, cycling, and spending quality time with his partner and their two children in Cornwall.

TECHNICAL & BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT
Wayne Watts MIET is a highly experienced Electrical Engineer with more than 30 years in the offshore, marine, mining, industrial, and commercial sectors. As Technical Director, he provides strategic technical leadership across complex electrical, control, and automation systems, combining deep hands-on expertise with a practical, solutions-driven approach.
Across his career, Wayne has delivered engineering projects in offshore geotechnical drilling, smart control and building management systems, and heavy industrial environments including the Cornish mining sector. His broad technical capability spans PLCs and automation, high and low voltage distribution, instrumentation, functional specifications, and commissioning of complex system upgrades. He has worked extensively with global standards such as DNV, ATEX, IECEx, and BS7671, supporting operational teams both onshore and offshore.
Wayne is known for his problem-solving ability, clear communication, and commitment to delivering safe, reliable, and well-engineered solutions that improve asset performance and operational resilience.
Outside of work, Wayne enjoys motorcycling, photography, travel, and exploring new technology.

Mark Heath MIET is an experienced engineering manager with more than 20 years in the marine, oil & gas, and geotechnical industries.
With a strong technical background in high and low voltage systems, controls, automation and asset management, Mark brings a depth of knowledge that supports Azure Global’s commitment to practical, reliable engineering solutions.
Mark has held senior roles in global offshore organisations, leading multidisciplinary teams and overseeing complex maintenance and upgrade projects across international fleets. His experience includes CMMS implementation, CAPEX/OPEX budgeting and lifecycle asset management, with a strong focus on safety, compliance and operational efficiency.
Known for his hands-on approach and clear communication style, Mark enjoys working closely with teams to solve real-world engineering challenges and improve operational performance.
Mark supports Azure Global in an advisory capacity, providing strategic engineering and regulatory guidance when required.
Outside of work, Mark enjoys playing golf (badly, by his own admission), snowboarding and spending time with his family in Cornwall.
